Software needed

To access the material, you need a World Wide Web browser, such as Mosaic or Netscape. Such browsers can show the hypertext files ('.htm') with '.gif' images.

Moreover, you may come across postscript ('.ps') and acrobat ('.pdf') text files, and '.au' audio files. To access these, you need the Acrobat reader, a postscript viewer (e.g. ghostview ) and an audio player (e.g. the one available with your soundcard). Note that most of the postscript files are also available in acrobat format. The Acrobat reader is available on this CD ROM.

Video is provided in Quicktime '.mov' format.
