Free Acrobat Readers

Adobe has a free Acrobat Reader available for Apple Macintosh, Microsoft Windows and several Unix-based platforms that you can obtain from this CD-ROM or from Adobe's site . If you are on a Unix system for which the Acrobat reader is not available you can try the xpdf viewer written by Derek Noonburg.

Helper Applications

You can integrate Acrobat Reader software as an external viewer or "Helper application" for your web browser. For details, consult the section on helpers of the Netscape handbook.
