Jack Glas
Jack Glas is a Member of Technical Staff in the Design Principles Research Department at Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies in Murray Hill, NJ, USA.
In December 1996, he received his Ph.D. in EE from Delft University of Technology on the subject of Spread Spectrum Communications for Short Distances after defending his thesis entitled "Non-Cellular Wireless Communication Systems". In November 1997 he received the "Else Kooi Award" for this work. He got his Ir. (Masters) degree in 1992 Cum Laude from the same university. He was born in Nieuw-Vennep (de Haarlemmermeer), The Netherlands on July 7, 1969.
His research interests include: RF System Design, Cellular Telephony, CDMA and Hardware/Software Co-Design.
