Received carrier:

v(t) = (C + z) cos(w_ct) + x sin(w_ct)

where

z   is the in-phase component of the reflections

x   is the quadrature component of the reflections.

I   is the total in-phase component (I = C + z)

Q   is the total quadrature component (Q = x)
