through education and research. The Wireless Information Network
Laboratory is a National Science Foundation/Industry/University
Cooperative Research Center at Rutgers, The State University of
New Jersey. Formed in 1989, just as the global wireless communication
industry began its spectacular growth spurt, WINLAB is a national
resource for technology creation, technology evaluation, education,
and information transfer.
