System 1 Pick the unambiguous dimensions
The dimensionality of X is chosen to be significantly larger than that of S.
The helper data contains information about which entries of X contain values that do not cause ambiguity when quantized into a discrete value.
In other words: W is used to indicated which entries in X are to be erased.
- Some values of X can not be treated.
- S can not be chosen arbitrarily
- No way to exploit error correction coding
