- General Assembly of all Members is the highest authority
- Steering Board with 18 seats is the governing body of DRM
- Project Administrator runs the project
- DRM is a not for profit organisation
- Three types of Membership:
- Class A: all rights, payment of fee from the beginning (1998)
- Class B: no IPR, payment of fee from the year of entrance
- Associate: one payment of $ 500, but restricted
- Annual Membership fee: $ 10.000, unchanged since the beginning
